This pullover has an in-cord lock design that gives the feeling of wearing a single piece of fabric.

The wing collar is also made from a single piece of fabric, and the thin, soft collar is beautiful and stress-free to wear.

- Incord Lock Series When sewing clothes with a sewing machine, a seam allowance is always necessary, and it is very important when making clothes to consider how to finish the seam allowance appropriately for each part.
The way the seam is finished and the finished product can change the appearance of the garment, so it is a testament to the skill of the seam sewist.
Clothing is made up of a combination of many parts, and there are seam allowances wherever the parts join together.
There are many different types of finishing methods, but depending on the time and situation, the seam allowance finishing method may end up being thick or stiff, making the garment feel uncomfortable when worn.
To achieve a stress-free fit, it is only natural to think of eliminating seams from clothing, and in recent years there have been many advances in this method, such as gluing rather than sewing, or weaving the seams in one continuous piece like knitted items.
However, this in-cord lock specification is a method that achieves seamlessness through a completely new sewing method using existing sewing machines.
This method involves attaching a thin cord to the end of each part and then sewing the cord and the body together using a small-width sewing machine.
When I first heard about it, I couldn't understand it at all, but when I visited the factory that had this patented technology and saw it with my own eyes, I was so moved that I was speechless.
The incord lock is a completely different way of sewing than ever before, and it is not just an interesting way to finish something, but a logical solution, and it also has a beautiful design.
This is not the result of a new machine brought about by technological innovation, but rather a completely new sewing method based on the ideas of someone with a solid understanding of sewing methods.
I feel that this is very similar to Yamauchi's concept of exploring how to make new proposals using what is currently available, and I would like to continue proposing items using this sewing method in the future.

Felted alpaca knit (Wakayama region)
Like the cashmere knit, the textile is from Morishita Meriyasu in Wakayama.
We have used carefully selected baby alpaca yarn from Fukaki Woolen Mills, which was founded in 1887, to create alpaca felted knitwear, just like our cashmere knitwear.
Alpaca fibers are thick and therefore prone to breaking, which means they tend to wrinkle when shrunk.
By using our craftsmanship to determine the method and time required for felting, we were able to create a special knitwear after much trial and error.
While retaining the texture of alpaca, it is soft and smooth to the touch, and I really like the exquisite degree of felting.
This knit is neither too thick nor too thin, with an exquisite balance that makes it perfect for both wearing as a jacket in early autumn and as an inner layer in winter.
