The material is a thick jersey knit made from two strands of 20-count yarn pulled together and knitted as tightly as possible. (It is a No. 10 equivalent jersey.) This heavy jersey is bleached at high temperatures in a vintage dyeing pot and then dried in a gas-fueled tumbler machine.
MUSTARD and BLACK are dyed after production, and with repeated washing and long-term use, the color will gradually fade, giving the garment a used/vintage feel. Enjoy the change in color. *WHITE has been pre-washed.
