Yamauchi's collared SP140'S DOSKIN standard shirt.
I like the word "normal" and use it often. What is considered normal changes over time, so it can be difficult to even think about what is normal today. But I always want to make "normal" shirts. This shirt item was made with the image of "normal" in mind at the moment we started designing it.
SP140'S DOSKIN (Produced in Bishu) A traditional doeskin-woven woolen fabric used for wool formal wear. Although the original doeskin is a heavy fabric, by using the delicate threads of sp140's it has been reborn as a new textile that is smooth and elastic. The understated look suits Yamauchi very well, and I really like the understated look it gives when tailored. However, the high-quality atmosphere that exudes from deep within is created by the exquisite weaving, the quality of the thread, and the balance of the tailoring.
