Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a major leather production area in Japan. Leather from Kagoshima Prefecture's Kuroge Wagyu cattle, which is used for meat, is recycled as a by-product and used for clothing. The sewing is also made in Japan in Tatsuno City.
