Tatsuno City in Hyogo Prefecture is a major leather production area in Japan. Leather made from the by-product of Kagoshima Prefecture's Kuroge Wagyu beef, which is used for meat, is recycled and used for clothing. The sewing is made in Japan in Tatsuno City.
